Cynthia Bailey made a stop in Austin this summer to promote her favorite drinks featuring Seagram’s Escapes. We sat down with the actress, reality star and entrepreneur to chat about those summer sips plus Housewives, pool fashion and more!
Let’s start with her collaboration with Seagram’s. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star said she partnered with the company because they care about female empowerment and she finds it’s yet another way to connect with her fans.
Her new favorite cocktail recipe is the Lemon Crush. The Lemon Crush features Seagram’s Escapes bestseller Jamaican Me Happy and here’s how it’s made:
- 1 bottle of chilled Jamaican Me Happy
- 2 oz. Vodka (we recommend Tito’s, duh)
- 3/4 cup pink lemonade
- 1 sliced lemon
- 1/4 cup sliced strawberries
- Watermelon slices for garnish
What better place to sip on that tasty treat than poolside? Cynthia outline her perfect pool day for us!
Outfit: When in Austin, she’d definitely be wearing a swimsuit because it’s so darn hot. In LA (where she currently spends most of her time), she’d be donning comfortable and chic daytime wear.
Music: She would definitely be listening to some old tunes, mixed with current faves by Doja Cat, Bruno Mars, and similar upbeat artists. Anything that’s a vibe and puts her in a mood to dance, makes her float, and her gives her energy, she said.
Reads: Since she just ordered Viola Davis’s memoir “Finding Me,” she would most likely be reading that while lounging in a cabana.
What’s next for Cynthia Bailey?
“I’m excited for this next chapter of my life,” she says. “I had 11 incredible, unforgettable, insane years (on RHOA), but at this point in my life, I’m really really looking forward to doing some different things and peeling off some other layers of Cynthia that you didn’t get to see on Housewives.”
One of those aspects of her life we haven’t seen much of yet is her acting. Watch for her on Tubi in The Stepmother and in the Terror Lake Drive series on ALLBLK.
And that’s not all! “I’m going for it and I have a lot of great exciting projects coming up,” she gushed. “I’m living my best life.”
We couldn’t let the former model leave without giving us some tips on posing. Her go to moves include hooking her hands in her pockets, kicking out a leg and sometimes even doing “The Flamingo.” Check out the video below for the full lesson.
