After more than two years off the air, Westworld is back! The Emmy award-winning HBO Max series will debut its fourth season on Sunday, June 26. But what we’re really excited about is Westworld‘s return to Austin. It was just announced that the series will be headlining the closing night event of ATX TV Festival.
In 2018, the Westworld SXSW installation appropriately called SXSWestworld, blew our minds. To this day, it is one of the best SXSW installations we’ve ever experienced. The attention to detail was astounding- not that we should be surprised considering the series is created in the same fashion. Read all about our SXSWestworld experience here.
Westworld isn’t the only thing back this year. ATX TV Festival returns to an in-person festival for Season 11. The festival details have now been announced and with those details comes the news that a Westworld panel will be happening on Saturday, June 4.

What We Know
We aren’t sure if there will be an exclusive sneak peek of the new season…but given the festival’s past, we predict there just might be. However, we do know that there will be a panel with cast members: Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Luke Hemsworth and Angela Sarafyan.
After the panel, you can test your Westworld knowledge at ATX TV Trivia Night hosted by HBO Max for all badge-holders.
