On Tuesday we spotted base camp signs on South Congress pointing to a shooting location at the Austin American Statesman building. Turns out, the Apple+ miniseries The Last Thing He Told Me was shooting there with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Angourie Rice.

The TV series is based on the novel of the same name by Laura Dave. The film stars Jennifer Garner, though we’ve yet to hear of any sightings of her in Austin yet. In addition to Garner, Coster-Waldau and Rice, the film features Aisha Tyler, Geoff Stults, John Harlan Kim and Augusto Aguilera.

Keep your eyes peeled for each of those actors as well as signs like these around town.

Spy Kids

The newest Spy Kids movie is officially filming in Austin! Spy Kids: Armageddon will focus on a new family of spies and Jane The Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez and Shazam star Zachary Levi lead the cast. Spill the aTx has confirmed that filming has happened in the Round Rock area and Krause Springs in Spicewood. We hear they are also planning a car chase scene downtown near the Capitol.

Walker

Austin plays a key roll in the hit CW series Walker. Tons of Austin landmarks appear in the series and it’s no surprise as the series stars and is executive produced by Jared Padalecki. Check out some of the locations from season one here.
