At the first of two sold out shows at Sunset Strip Comedy at The Ballroom at Spider House on April 23, Jeremy Piven mentioned that he’s moving to Austin.

“I just got a place here,” Piven said. “I’m moving here.”

It appeared he was really getting into character at the late show as he donned a cowboy hat on stage and banged on the drums. Perhaps he plays bongos too. Seems like he’ll fit right in.

Jeremy Piven is best known for his role as Ari Gold in the HBO series Entourage, for which he won a Golden Globe Award and three Emmy Awards. More recently, he starred in the British period drama Mr. Selfridge. You may also recognize him from his roles in films that also star John Cusack, like Say Anything, Gross Pointe Blank and Serendipity.

The actor/ comedian joins a long list of celebrities who have taken up residence in Austin, including his Entourage co-star Adrian Grenier. Just last month we confirmed that Emma Stone left La La Land for the ATX. But that’s not even the tip of the iceberg. Check out all the celeb who live in the area here.
