While making an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, F1 star Daniel Ricciardo shared his love for Austin. He was on the CBS talk show to promote the new season of the Netflix series Drive to Survive.

When asked what’s the best circuit to be a fan of F1, the reserve Red Bull driver said, “I know I am in America but it’s truth. I love Austin.”

He went on the list the barbecue and the music as reasons for his admiration. “(Austin) is its own kind of atmosphere,” Ricciardo said. “I think that’s really special.” He concluded by saying the USGP in Austin is a race he will probably continue going to as a fan in the future.

Well, we got a sneak peek at the new season of Drive to Survive and we can tell you that Austin is featured this season. The USGP was left out of season 4 but it was tough to do that with this season. After all, Austin is where Red Bull clinched the constructors’ championship (amidst the drama of the spending cap breach). And rest assured, you’ll also see plenty of Daniel Ricciardo in the new season!
