Showtime is bringing its popular mystery series Yellowjackets to SXSW with a three-day pop up. SXSW is notorious for great interactive pop ups and this looks like it’s going to be one of the best!

Here’s what we know about the Yellowjackets SXSW Pop up!

This pop is called “Camp Yellowjackets.” The pop up will feature an abandoned 1990s summer camp experience. There will be hidden Easter eggs from the show, activities, BBQ and specialty cocktails. Plus, our favorite part, special cast guest appearances!

While we think it’s a missed opportunity that they’re not hosting the event at the Yellow Jacket Social Club on East 5th Street, Fair Market is probably the more appropriate venue space-wise. The pop up will be open for three days from March 10 to 12. Friday, March 10 will be a private opening event while the other two days will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

About the show

Yellowjackets tells the narrative of a team of wildly talented high-school girls soccer players who survive a plane crash deep in the Ontario wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to warring, cannibalistic clans, while also tracking the lives they have attempted to piece back together.

The series stars, Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher and Sammi Hanratty.

Yellowjackets season 2 premieres on Showtime Friday, March 24!
