I have personally experienced treatments at all of these spots. Below, you’ll find details on each spa as well as what procedures I’ve had at each spa. Life in Balance Spa at Miraval Austin
Location: Miraval Austin, 13500 FM 2769
In addition to having one of the best spas, overnight accommodations, and two gorgeous pools, Miraval Austin offers complete wellness options like yoga, sound baths, mediations, culinary and nutrition classes, hiking, and so much more! But let’s talk about the spa and what we love most about an experience here. Miraval is our favorite of the Austin spas overall. This is a place where you can truly unplug because digital devices are discouraged and not even allowed in certain areas of the tranquil retreat. In addition to numerous massages, body renewal rituals, and skin care treatments, you’ll have access to a quiet room, steam room, sauna, hot tub, and serenity pool.

Mokara Spa at Omni Barton Creek
Location: 8212 Barton Club Drive
If you’re looking for a day spa experience where you don’t have to purchase a package nor commit a full day of treatments, I suggest Mokara Spa at Omni Barton Creek. The largest of the Austin spas on this list, Mokara Spa offers signature treatments and salon services, as well as a steam room, sauna, hot tub, cafe, and private pool. The private rooftop pool makes this spa a fave for a getaway with the gals. Offered to spa guests only, the pool is heated year-round. Additionally, this is the only locale on the list with a cafe located inside the spa – though you also have the option to grab dinner and/ or drinks after your relaxing day at one of seven signature restaurants and lounges on hotel grounds.

Fairmont Spa Austin
Location: 101 Red River Street
If you’re looking for something central, the spa at Fairmont Austin is a great choice. Enjoy a serene space to sit a spell and listen to your body while surrounded by the spirited energy of downtown Austin. In addition to treatments, their solariums showcase a saline soaking pool with floor to ceiling views of the Austin skyline, a eucalyptus steam grotto, and European dry heat sauna.

Viva Day Spa
Location: 215 South Lamar Boulevard and 11601 Rock Rose Avenue
Looking for a relaxing experience but don’t have all day? Try Viva Day Spa. Both the South Lamar and Domain locations offer an escape right in the middle of the city. A woman and locally-owned business, Viva is dedicated to providing every client the individual attention and custom service you expect and deserve. They offer a variety of massages, facials and hydra facials, manis/pedis, and waxing/ tinting. In addition to standalone treatments, they also offer some great packages at both their day spa and med spa.

Bel/Ver Studio
Location: 1603 South Lamar Boulevard
If you want a facial at a place that’s fully dedicated to skin care, try BelVer Studio. You’ll get the ultimate skin care experience with a combination of European style and the latest esthetic technology, leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you that the oxylight facial I received here was the best facial experience I’ve ever had.

SkinSpirit
Location: 405 North Lamar Boulevard, Suite 110
Of the many med spas on the list, I believe this is the most affordable. Thats because they offer specials as well as accepting the Allé rewards program. Located in downtown Austin, a big perk is that they have plenty of parking – which is hard to come by downtown.

Spa Sway
Location: 11011 Domain Drive and 701 South Capital of Texas Highway
There are multiple Spa Sway locations but I go to the newest location in Westlake. Though it’s located in a strip mall, you’d never know it once you walk inside. It’s quiet and peaceful and the waiting room is warm and inviting. This female-owned establishment has spent numerous years on Austin Monthly’s Best of ATX list.

Skin Pharm
Location: 4609 Bee Caves Road
Skin Pharm also offers specials as well as a simple and affordable skin care line. Their Westlake location is beautiful and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their treatments, clinic atmosphere and product line are designed to empower you at every stage of your skin care journey, so you can enjoy the confidence boost that comes with feeling good in your skin.
