One of our favorite celebrity couples, who just happen to be Austinites, have finally tied the knot! After six years together and two kids, Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst officially wed in Jamaica.
Apparently, the wedding delay was due to both COVID-19 and having a second child, according to an interview Dunst had with the LA Times earlier this year. She also told Elle Magazine that they have been calling each other husband and wife for some time. That means that in the state of Texas they were common law married anyway. The couple’s secret wedding took place over Fourth of July weekend at the luxury GoldenEye resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. That’s about all the details on the wedding itself but here’s some more info about the couple’s relationship timeline.
Dunst and Plemons met on the set of Fargo in 2016. They then got engaged in January of 2017. Their first child, a boy named Ennis, was born in 2018, and his brother James Roberts arrived in 2021.
They Oscar nominated actors have shared the screen multiple times since Fargo! Both actors also worked together on Black Mirror, Drunk History, Windfall, and, most recently, Power of the Dog.
