Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt put their Barbenheimer rivalry behind them just in time for the SXSW premiere of The Fall Guy. The Oscar nominated actors arrived in style by riding in the bed of an old school pickup truck. Before hitting the red carpet Gosling and Blunt graciously greeted the sea of fans waiting for them.
Other cast members who where at the premiere were: Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) , Stephanie Hsu (Joy Ride) and Winston Duke (Black Panther).

Synopsis: After leaving the business one year earlier, battle-scarred stuntman Colt Seavers springs back into action when the star of a big studio movie suddenly disappears. As the mystery surrounding the missing actor deepens, Colt soon finds himself ensnared in a sinister plot that pushes him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.

We saw a special screening in 4D and it was a wild ride. While the film is considered a rom-com, we would definitely say its more of an action rom-com as it was like a two hour roller coaster. And we don’t mean an emotional one! Given the premise and cast, we can’t imagine any reason why you shouldn’t go see The Fall Guy.
If you’re on the fence, here’s one reason you might want to watch. Our staffer who saw the film said that she wasn’t a fan of Gosling – until this movie. That may have something to do with the action, rather than his singing/ dancing Kenergy. In her brief review, she took time to mention Gosling’s muscles glistening with sweat. She even noted how far into the movie this occurred. So, yeah, we’re pretty sure that made a fan out of her.
The Fall Guy opens in theaters on May 3.
