In the fall of 2021 we first reported that the HBO Max series Love and Death would be filming in Austin. The Elizabeth Olsen starring series isn’t set to premiere until 2023, but HBO gave us a quick sneak peek of the series before the House of the Dragon premiere on Sunday.
Though no known Austin filming locations are visible in the clip, we look forward to a full length trailer coming soon. Perhaps there will be some recognizable shots at that time. We do see a few familiar faces though, including Jesse Plemons, Patrick Fugit and Lily Rabe.
Quite a bit of Love and Death filming took place in Hutto and the Georgetown square. If you know of a filming location we should include in future posts, DM us on Instagram. And stay tuned for more details on this project.
