Here’s your chance to really experience Willie Nelson’s Luck Ranch!
As if the Luck Reunion isn’t cool enough (Not familiar? Read about it here), the Rolling Roadshow and Luck Productions are joining forces to present Luck Cinema!
On July 6, they’re hosting the kickoff event: a screening of Red Headed Stranger smack dab in the middle of the original film set. And Willie Nelson will be there live and in person for a Q&A with other special guests.
That’s not all! Fans will be able to view some of the film’s memorabilia provided by the Wittliff Collections. The collection was founded by the late Bill Witliff who wrote and directed the flick.
Texas Film Commission will also be onsite to discuss the film and address the impact the film industry has on the state of Texas.
Tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime event go on sale Thursday, June 20, at 10am and are expected to sell out fast. Log on and/or bookmark this address ASAP.
Oh, and for you high rollers out there, Austin Food and Wine Alliance will host an intimate 50-person dinner prior to the screening. All-inclusive tickets for the dinner and film are $350. Tickets for just the film and Q&A will run you $100.
Located just outside of Austin, Luck Ranch is Willie’s part-time home here in Central Texas. We recently spent an afternoon out at the ranch, previewing Nelson’s new album Ride Me Back Home. You can read more about that here.
