The Future of Food

If you were worried about not getting the official SXSW interactive experience without a badge, don’t fret! Next up in our series highlighting the events we are most excited about is something for all you foodies wanting that interactive experience – The Future of Food!

SXSW, along with Huston-Tillotson University, Food Tank, The James Beard Foundation, Little Herds and The Cook’s Nook is hosting the experience, which is a series of workshops and events focused on building a more sustainable food system.

The hosts are bringing in 100+ food system experts from March 11 to 18 at multiple locations such as the SXSW Center, Huston-Tillotson University and SkyHouse. Featured topics include food community and equity. There will also be a celebration of food related startups co-hosted with Emmer & Rye.

The Future of Food activations are free and open to the public (no badge required) but you do have to RSVP. There is both an in-person and virtual option to attend.
