While not many events at SXSW are family-friendly, there are a few things happening out there for those who want their kids to join in on the fun. In collaboration with Disney+, SXSW is hosting a few outdoor screenings on Saturday, March 12 that all can enjoy!

Three screening of Disney’s biggest and latest movies will be shown on the spacious lawn of the Long Center. There will also be other surprises such as giveaways, character appearances and costumes contests. And make sure to arrive early for some free, delicious popcorn!

Here are the movies Disney+ will be screening:

  • 11:30 AM- Disney’s Jungle Cruise with Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt going on an adventure through the Amazon
  • 3:30 PM – Cruella starring Emma Stone as the early days version of the villain
  • 7:30 PM – Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, Marvel’s latest hero movie starring Simu Liu

These showings are free and open to the public (no badge or RSVP required). All you need to do is show up early and find a good viewing spot. More information can be found on the SXSW Schedule.
