During SXSW 2024, the iHeart Podcast Awards brought some of our favorite podcasters to Austin. That includes Kyle MacLachlan. You may know his best as Dale Cooper on Twin Peaks, or Trey MacDougal on Sex and the City, or Orson on Desperate Housewives, or the many many other roles he’s portrayed over the years. Now, he hosts a true crime podcast called “Varnamtown.”
We were lucky enough to chat with the legend on the red carpet before the awards show. While taking our Texas This or That quiz, he was forced to choose between Lizzo and Beyonce, Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey and more!
Here’s how Kyle MacLachlan answered our Texas This or That quiz!
The first few quiz questions are quick and easy like, Queso or guac? “Guac,” he chose. He also answered barbecue when asked to choose between tacos or barbecue.
Next up, it was onto more difficult TV and celebrity related Qs. A few of these were especially difficult for MacLachlan as he has worked with some of the people in question. For example, the fact that he’s been on The Kelly Clarkson Show a number of times made it hard to pick anyone other that Kelly in our music category.
