The first wave of programming has been announced for Austin’s Fantastic Fest and it includes a special screening of Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.

Burton, scheduled to appear at the screening, is no stranger to the Fest as he premiered Frankenweenie there in 2012.

No word yet on whether stars Samuel L. Jackson, Allison Janney, Rupert Everett, Judi Dench or others will attend.

Based on the 2011 best-selling novel of the same name by Ransom Riggs, the movie tells the tale of a boy who, following a horrific family tragedy, follows clues that take him to an abandoned orphanage.

The festival runs September 22-29 and the film opens nationwide on September 30.
