It’s no big secret that celebrities have been steadily taking up residence in Austin and surrounding cities. So when had heard rumors that Emma Stone moved to Austin we knew it could be true but without confirmation, we wouldn’t and couldn’t spill the ATX. But after a follower sent us an article documenting the buy on Dirt.com, we figured we should let you in on the secret. The move was also reported by Architectural Digest and Culture Map, among others.
At some point between the pandemic, the release of Cruella and giving birth to her first child – Emma Stone quietly bought a house in Austin in 2021. We don’t want to spill too many details on Stone’s Austin home but rumor has it that out of all of her properties, the nearly-5,000 sq. ft. home is the most expensive. Stone also owns homes in Malibu and New York.
It’s unclear how much time she spends here in the ATX. Between the large house and the new baby, we’re sure the family is enjoying laying low. Regardless, we’re happy to welcome Emma to Austin! Here’s a look at the Tarrytown property they call home.
We haven’t personally spotted her recently, but here’s hoping she takes part in a festival or red carpet event sometime soon. We last saw Emma Stone in Austin in 2009 at the Zombieland premiere at Fantastic Fest!
