During the ATX TV Festival, we stayed downtown at the Hilton Austin. Here’s the tea – we would 10/10 recommend staying there.

Located in the heart of downtown, the Hilton Austin has amazing views of the skyline and late afternoon sunsets.
2 – Live Music
On select nights, you can enjoy a happy hour drink with a side of live music in the lobby. Sounds perfect for a stay in the live music capital of the world, doesn’t it?
3 – A Bourbon Bar
At the Cannon + Belle Bourbon Bar in the lobby you can build your old old fashioned, travel down the Whiskey Trail or simply sip on one of the bourbons or whiskeys from their extensive list of offerings.
4 – Chill Out
In the Texas summer heat, you’ll definitely need to cool down. Head to the 8th floor pool deck for a drink, a dip and a lovely view of the skyline (especially if you don’t have that view from your room).
5 – Superb Service
Between the hosts at the hotel, the bartenders, the Starbucks baristas and even the gift shop cashiers, everyone at the hotel is welcoming and accommodating. Austin may have changed quite a bit over the years, but luckily, the Central Texas hospitality is alive and well at the Hilton Austin.
