When Tina Fey and Amy Poehler opened their Restless Leg tour at Bass Concert Hall in Austin, they talked about a few Austin things including: the Keep Austin Weird slogan, the bats, and Franklin Barbecue.

We can now add Fey to the list of celebs who have waiting in line for the famous BBQ. In her standup portion of the evening, she mentioned that she waited for one hour and 45 minutes at Franklin, stating that she had been told that’s not very long. Other stars that have been known to dine on Franklin include: President Barack Obama (who did in fact skip the line), Gordon Ramsay, Quest Love of the Roots, Jimmy Kimmel, Scott Eastwood, Jon Favreau and more! Kanye West reportedly attempted to cut the line but was denied by staff.

We were also told by a follower on Instagram that Poehler dined on pizza in Lockhart at Loop & Lil’s.

Here’s what else went down at the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler show.

The show began with opener Zarna Garg. CNBC called the Indian-American stand-up comedian and screenwriter “the zany, outspoken voice of the Indian American woman.” She is great and I can’t wait to watch her Amazon Prime special One in a Billion.

Following Zarna, Tina and Amy walked onto the stage donning awards show looks to welcome us and then announced they were taking us back to the 90s. Next, an awesome 90s-centric video played and then the gals returned in 90s looks to talk about what it was like meeting and performing comedy in Chicago in the 90s.

Next up, a Y2K video played and the former SNL alum returned to the stage with a Weekend Update set up. And that’s not all. They were joined by a special guest – Fred Armisen!

Before the evening concluded, both headliners did stand alone sets. Amy talked a lot about aging, very comically I must add. Meanwhile, Tina showed us a bit of her home Halloween decor and asked if we think she’s doing OK. The consensus was that she’s not.

The final segment had the ladies back on stage together in PJs. They answered audience questions and then ended with a song. It was brilliant, as was the entire event.
