First, it was confirmed that Ryan Gosling will, in fact, perform the hit song “Just Ken” at the Oscars on March 10. Now, we know that he’ll be in Austin for SXSW just two days later for the premiere of The Fall Guy.

Gosling is no stranger to spending time in Austin. While filming the Terrence Malick film Song to Song, he and partner Eva Mendes were seen at various spots around the ATX, including the Town Lake trail and Fun Fun Fun Fest. <<< This linked post is hilarious, BTW, as it was posted in the heyday of Perez Hilton and TMZ. We had a VERY different style back then.

In 2012, a follower told us about meeting the couple at Red Bud Island where they were hanging with their dog (a mixed breed named George). When she asked if they were enjoying Austin, they replied that they love it, mentioning how beautiful the city is.

This isn’t Goslings first visit to SXSW either. He attended in 2015 in support of his directorial debut Lost River. The Oscar nominee attended again in 2017 to premiere Song to Song.

The Fall Guy premieres at the Paramount Theatre on Tuesday, March 12. Gosling will be joined on the red carpet by co-stars Emily Blunt, Hannah Waddingham and Winston Duke.
