Located on the 290 wine trail in the Texas Hill Country, you’ll experience a true moment of peace at this cozy glamping spot. If you’ve never stayed in a yurt, you may not know how luxurious it is! We’re talking A/C, heat, hardwood floors – it’s like staying in a cabin but so much more unique. Each of the eight yurts feature two queen beds, a full bathroom and a kitchenette, with shared fire pits and cedar barrel soaking tubs on site!

We planned our stay on a night when we were attending an event at nearby winery Ron Yates. Other wineries located nearby include: William Chris Vineyards, Carter Creek Winery, Siboney Cellars and more.

There are also a few fun spots in downtown Johnson City that are worth a visit. Start you day with a cup of coffee and a breakfast taco at Johnson City Coffee Company. Or, end the day with a night cap at Nice and Easy, where you can also grab a hot dog or a Frito Pie.
