F1 Fans

It’s no secret that Formula 1 has become increasingly more popular over the past few years. And there are some popular F1 fans out there! Since the USGP is happening in Austin this month, we’re dreaming of who we would love to see out at The Circuit.

Here are our favorite celebrity F1 Fans!

Tom Cruise

Earlier this year in Miami, Tom Cruise helped the Mercedes pit crew change out the tires of Lewis Hamilton. Cruise has a long history with the sport. In 2011, he was invited by Red Bull Racing to pilot one of their rides through the Willow Springs Circuit in Southern California while celebrating Formula 1’s return to the US.

Dax Shepard

Dax and wife Kristen Bell have been spotted at various races over the years, including right here at Circuit of the Americas. Fans of classic cars, motorcycles and RVs as well, they have both talked about their love for racing in talk shows and podcasts.

Will Arnett

Arnett hosts a podcast called “Fast & Loose” and did race commentary with driver Daniel Ricciardo earlier this season.

James Marsden

Austin resident James Marsden has been spotted at the USGP in past years and was seen at the Monaco race earlier this year (where he was falsely identified as Roger Federer).

Brad Pitt

Superstar Brad Pitt is currently making an F1 related film, however, the writer’s and actor’s strikes have affected production. Earlier this year, though, he took to the track to film scenes at Silverstone. In 2022, he attended the USGP where he famously snubbed Martin Brundle.

Patrick Dempsey

McDreamy, AKA Patrick Dempsey, is a driver himself so it’s no surprise that he’s one of our fave F1 fans. He has also been spotted at the Austin face over the years.

Serena and Venus Williams

Sisters Serena and Venus Williams have been spotted at many races throughout the years, including the USGP. Venus was actually just in Austin for weekend one of ACL Music Festival.

Shaquille O’Neal

Otherwise known as DJ Diesel, Shaq is no stranger to COTA. He performed at the race in both 2021 and 2022. Last year, we even saw him in the Paddock area and posted this fun video:
