Today we’re chatting with Raquel Greer Gordian from Greer Image Consulting.
Raquel is a unicorn as she was born-and-raised in Austin! She started her career as an image consultant and personal stylist in NYC after college but decided to return to her Austin roots in 2014. Her moved sparked her passion to serve women in her hometown. 2014 was also the year Raquel launched her business GreerImageConsulting.com! The award-winning image consultant told us about how she helps women uncover their style, and feel naturally beautiful, visible and empowered by it.

Just as we do with celebs, we asked Raquel to answer some of our Totally Texan questions, as well as a few ATX-tra things.
What’s your favorite TV show or movie shot in Austin?
Friday Night Lights – If Tim Riggins is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.
Who is your favorite Texas band/ musician?
Selena! She is seriously everything: her style, her voice, her energy.
What actor would you classify as “totally Texan?”
Matthew McConaughey – I mean, is there really anyone else?
What’s your theme song?
“SpottieOttieDopaLiscious” by Outkast (or at least what I aspire to)
Who would play you in the movie of your life?
For doppleganger, I usually get Leighton Meester, Rose McGowan or Diane Lane, but I’m half latina – this is a tough one! I might just have to play myself.
What advice do you have for Austinites looking to be successful in social media?
Show off Austin! Show where you go, what you eat, what you drink, where you shop. As I always say, Austin is a little big city, so the places you go make you more relatable. If someone’s been there and sees your post, they’ll be excited that you went there too! Austin is a community of people who love to connect, so inspire people to connect with you.
