The new season of Formula 1: Drive to Survive premieres on Netflix next month and it looks like Austin may be featured in the fifth installment. Unfortunately, season four did not include the USGP. But this promo picture Netflix sent us gives us hope that the race in Austin will be included in season five. It is, after all, where Red Bull clinched the constructors’ championship.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 5 will premiere on Netflix on February 24, 2023.

Offering unprecedented access, this new season will once again take fans behind the scenes, to witness first-hand how the drivers and teams prepare to battle it out for the 2022 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The series offers never-before-seen footage and interviews from the sport’s biggest names. As in previous seasons, there will be 10 episodes, each running 45 minutes long.

In case you don’t remember, there were a slew of celebrities at the USGP in Austin in 2022, including Brad Pitt (who famously snubbed Martin Brundle)! Here’s our list of all the celebs who were spotted out at COTA.
