For the first time ever, the CMT Music Awards are happening in Austin! Airing LIVE from Moody Center on Sunday, April 2, the show will be hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown.
The news was first revealed by Ballerini in November 2022 at Carrie Underwood’s “The Denim & Rhinestones Tour” stop. We were there at Moody Center when Underwood was also announced as the first performer for the 2023 show. She is the winningest artist in CMT history!
The CMT Awards are country music’s only entirely fan-voted award show. It will air live on April 2 on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

Venue Presale is happening on Wednesday, March 1 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, March 2 at 10 p.m. Tickets then go on sale to the public on Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. Get more info from Moody Center here.
