Maren Morris Kicks Off ACL 2025 With An Old School Intimate Performance
It’s been a long time since we’ve attended a pop-up performance that felt like a true pop-up. With such a small crowd of music lovers, it had the feeling of stepping back in time to old Austin. After all, events like this used to happen all the time in the ATX.

Morris started the set with a performance of her recent song “Lemonade.” She then threw it back to her second album with “Girl,” followed by 2025’s “Too Good.” She ended the epic evening with her two biggest hits: “My Church” and “The Bones.”
Before her performance, the Texas native spoke about growing up and going to the ACL Music Festival.
“I grew up going to ACL – I’m from Arlington, Texas. I grew up driving down with my friends and I remember seeing so many bands at ACL back in the day. And then we played it, like, nine years ago. So, it’s been way too long and I’me very excited about the show tomorrow.” – Maren Morris
You can catch Morris’s set at the festival on Friday, October 3 at the Beatbox stage at 7:30 p.m.
