Tom Hanks will be in Austin for the 2017 Texas Book Festival to present his new collection of short fiction, Uncommon Type.
The acclaimed actor will discuss the book with Pulitzer Prize-winning Texas author Lawrence Wright. A collection of seventeen heartwarming tales, each story in some way involves a different typewriter. This is the first book written by the two-time Oscar winner.
The event is happening Saturday, November 4, at 4:30pm at First Baptist Church. Sadly, the conversation is already sold out, though Alamo Drafthouse will live stream the event to participating theaters.
