The wildfires in California are, in one word, devastating. While thousands are affected, celebrities are on the forefront of news coverage. That’s because, after all, we “know” them. In no way are we making their loss any more important than the other residents of the areas. Most importantly, their stories should help us understand the breadth of this disaster and inspire everyone to help in any way they can.
Here are all the celebrities who have lost their homes in the California wildfires:
- Adam Brody and Leighton Meester
- Billy Crystal
- Cary Elwes
- Anna Faris
- Fergie
- Jennifer Grey
- Paris Hilton
- Tina Knowles
- Ricki Lake
- Cameron Mathison
- Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag
- Emily Procter
- Melissa Rivers
- Diane Warren
- James Woods
Of. course, many others are awaiting the fate of their homes. The loss for everyone – rich, poor, young, old – is unfathomable. Let’s hope this tragedy brings us all together rather than divide the country further.
