Moana 2 is an entertaining sequel full of adventure and drama. The film begins with
Moana as fierce as ever ready to conquer the sea. We meet new characters and reunite
with old ones.
Her braveness and fearlessness are inspiring. She takes on the impossible and this is where things get intense. Lightning is a theme with flashes throughout the movie. Maui appears and talks about people dying. The storm scenes might be scary for young kids.
The songs are okay, but they’re not as memorable as the original soundtrack.
Overall, the movie is visually stunning and has some heartwarming moments. There’s
no real competition with the first film though. I thought it was mediocre at best. My 10-year-old daughter, however, absolutely loved Moana 2 and can’t wait to see it again. Clearly,
they did something right!
