Jennifer Aniston’s hot hubby has posted about the organization multiple times on his Instagram account. He even made a very public declaration of his love on Ellen.
Here are five times Justin Theroux has shown his pawesome love for Austin Pets Alive!
1 – He first posted about the organization in 2016, pleading with his Insta followers to give this trio a good home.

2 – Later in 2016, Theroux shared the good news that this Butterball had been adopted. He went on to thank APA for their hard work over the 4th of July weekend. APA has been lauded for its fantastic care of the animals including stretching their small budget to include CBD for Pets especially for the dogs who are suffering from painful conditions. Hopefully, Theroux’s endorsement will raise even more awareness of their wonderful work.

3 – In April 2017, Theroux went on Ellen to play the game “Hot Hands.” If he won, host Ellen Degeneres said Shutterfly would donate $10,000 to the charity of his choice. That charity just happened to be APA.
“Austin Pets Alive! [is] a wonderful organization in Austin, Texas that’s a no-kill shelter that I love and I used to go and pet their dogs when I was shooting in Austin, and they are great,” Theroux told Degeneres.
4 – Later that month, the pet lover made a pit stop at APA while passing through Texas on a road trip with a pal.
While at the shelter, he shared pictures on Instagram of this 12-year-old pit bull Izzy who, he claims, “would love to see outside of the shelter (even though it’s the amazing AUSTIN PETS ALIVE!).”

5 – Most recently, while in town for what he calls a “bro’chelorette weekend,” the actor stopped by the shelter once again. We were alerted to the appearance by this Facebook Live video.
In a second video, Theroux challenges viewers to participate in the #SavingPetsChallenge where APA hopes to raise $150K by June 1. Learn more and donate here.
Here’s hoping Justin Theroux‘s love can help make it happen!
