Part-time Austinite and Tangled star Zachary Levi is showing the love for fellow actor Timothée Chalamet. When speaking about who Levi would like to see play a live-action version of Flynn Rider he told Entertainment Tonight that, unfortunately, he feels like he’s a little old to revive the role he played in the animated version. Instead he said, “I mean, he’s already getting every other job but probably Timothée Chalamet?”

With the popularity of many live-action remakes of classic Disney films, there is momentum building online for Tangled to receive the same treatment. Sounds like a good idea to us! We’re fans of all things Disney.

More About Zachary Levi

We spoke with Levi at an event at New Republic Studios in early 2019. The Shazam star has a home in the Bastrop area. Regarding his move to the Austin suburb, he said he looked at places all over the country but ultimately chose this area because, as he said, “If you polled a 100 people, 95% of them, if you bring up Austin, it’s a positive review.”

Since relocating here, he’s hosted many love chats from his property and even shot a short film there.
