At the Texas Film Awards, we were surprised by an appearance of Gen and Jared Padalecki. We knew other stars would be walking the red carpet but we had no idea we’d get the chance to chat with this lovely duo. So, we took full advantage of the moment and put them on the spot (finally!) forcing them to take our Texas This or That quiz. Here’s what when down.

As always, we start with the softball questions: tacos or barbecue and queso or guac. The couple found themselves at odds on both of these questions. It wasn’t until the third Q that they agreed. When asked, “Friday Night Lights TV show or movie,” they answered movie in unison, causing Jared to lay a kiss on his lovely wife.
The choice that gave them the most pause was Beyonce or Post Malone. But it was George Strait vs. Willie Nelson that elicited an entire diatribe from Jared. Ultimately, his reason for picking George is simple. Like himself, George Strait hails from San Antonio.
