Here’s Why Charles Barkley and Magic Johnson Blimps Were Spotted in Austin

Leading up to the 2025 NCAA Men’s Final Four in San Antonio, Capital One introduced two promotional blimps. The “Chuck” blimp was first seen during last year’s tournament and it was such a hit that Capital One brought it back this year. But that’s not all! They also launched the “Magic” blimp! The blimps were featured in a commercial and seen flying across San Antonio during the tournament.

But the tourney is over, so why are we seeing them now? Apparently, the blimps are making the nearly 1,000-mile flight back home to their hangar in Tennessee.
