If you’re looking for the best seafood dinner experience in Oslo, we found it! It’s at a place called Solsiden which is located on Akershusstranda right below Akershus Fortress. You can enjoy the magnificent sunset over the Oslo Fjord and thoroughly stuff yourself with lots and lots and lots of seafood!
Here’s how to have the best seafood dinner experience in Oslo, Norway!
There are a variety of seafood items on the menu but the best bang for our buck is definitely the seafood platter! It is piled high with lobster, shrimps, scallops, crab claws, mussels, Norwegian crayfish and snow crab. Oysters are an add on but this is already teaming with so much food, we passed on ordering anything else.
To enhance the experience further, we ordered a bottle of Ferrari Organic sparkling wine. It was the perfect addition!
We had planned to get dessert but we were so stuffed we decided to simply enjoy the final bit of our sparking wine instead. The white chocolate cream with roasted coconut, passion fruit curd, chocolate crumble and passion fruit sorbet did look mighty tasty though!
Our grand total for our seafood dinner with the bottle of sparking was $150 per person.
