Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein, whom you might know better as Roy Kent, is bringing his stand up show to Austin! There will be swears… lots of them.
A breakthrough British creative force on and offscreen, Goldstein has emerged as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after multihyphenates. He’s a comedian, writer, director, double Emmy award winning actor, and swimmer. Yep, swimmer is part of his official bio. Hailed by fans and critics alike, season three of Ted Lasso surpassed its previous record, once again leading as this year’s most-nominated comedy series with 21 Emmy nominations. Goldstein is the co-executive producer, writer, and star of the Peabody-winning Apple TV+ series. For his role as Roy Kent he received two Primetime Emmy Awards for ‘Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy,’ making him the category’s first back-to-back winner in almost 15 years.
