On August 20, 1989, Saved By the Bell officially premiered (before that it was known as Good Morning, Miss Bliss). To celebrate the re-imaging of the series on Peacock, August 20th has been made “Saved By The Bell Day!” And to celebrate, the series inspired pop-up Saved By The Max is returning.
The pop-up experience, which re-created the gang’s hangout spot The Max, debuted in Chicago before heading to LA. Both cities are bringing it back for just six days! And this time, New Yorkers will be able to get it on the fun too.
From August 20th and 25th, fans can enjoy a carryout experience, in accordance with all restaurant safety guidelines. Guests will be required to pre-order Saved By The Bell-themed meals including a “Bayside Preppy Pack” as well as menu items like Spano Sides and Snack Attack Desert. There will also be “At Home Detention” carry out kits which will include DIY Screech’s Secret Spaghetti Sauce and the I’m So Excited Coffee experience.
I was lucky enough to go to Saved By The Max during it’s Chicago run. Mr. Dewey was even there.

The Saved By The Bell Peacock series is coming soon! Will you watch?
If you’re a fan of Beverly Hills, 90201, we also went inside the Peach Pit pop up in LA in 2019.
