The Queen of All Media made his way back to Austin to rock the SXSW crowd in style. Perez Hilton hosted the One Night in Austin party benefiting VH1’s Save the Music program and kept the crowd excited while looking flashy in a bedazzled Madonna denim jacket. 

I’ve been one of the lucky few who made it into the past four One Night in Austin parties and witnessed many surprise performances, including Kanye West, Katy Perry and others. 

Each year I hope for another wild show. And, to quote a fellow reporter at this year’s shindig, my world was not rocked. Though we did learn about some great new artists (e.g. Kimbra, Ed Sheeran, Chris Cab).

However, one of my pal’s favorite performances of the night was the first to kick off the event. Miguel played to a nearly empty Austin Music Hall, but that didn’t stop him from putting on a stellar performance.

The Vampire Diaries star, Kat Graham, got sexy on stage, twerkin’ it hard with an awesome pony. That girl was twerkin’ it hard period, playing numerous shows each day of the music portion of the fest.

And while the party didn’t host many famous faces (other than those on stage), a few did pop up in the crowd, including Top Chef Texas Winner Paul Qui, Cisco Adler and former first daughter Jenna Bush-Hager.

This Saturday marks the Perez Hilton 34th birthday party going down in LA and yours truly is set to attend. Performers include the Backstreet Boys, Chris Rene, Far East Movement, Kat Graham, Glee’s Amber Riley, Charise, IM5, Taylor Dayne and more.
