Justin Timberlake kicked off his two night concert series in Austin by greeting fans with a familiar phrase. “Let’s go ahead and get this out of the way,” he said, followed by, “alright, alright, alright.”
As mentioned. JT’s tour made a two night stop at Austin’s Moody Center. After borrowing Matthew McConaughey’s catch phrase, he told the audience, “Austin, I’m not gonna lie to you. You look pretty damn good tonight.”
Before he brought the tunes, he then warned the crowd that he was moving a little slow. Here’s why. “You have to blame that Terry Black’s.”
Timberlake is no stranger to BBQ. He hails from Tennessee, after all. “You’re talking to a Memphis boy,” he proclaimed. “Those burnt ends…”
While in the ATX, he and his pals @thetnkids took a Goonies style bike ride through town that ended “seven hills later” at the Moody Center. Check it out here.
It’s clear Timberlake truly enjoyed his time in the Capital City. As he kicked off night two, he exclaimed, “I love this. I love this. Look, I love this town!”
Wondering what JT’s *NSYNC bandmates are up to these days? We’ve got the tea right here.
