Texas Performing Arts is currently hosting the Broadway smash Dear Evan Hansen and ATXgossip was lucky enough to see the show on opening night. What a treat!
Though I had seen a couple of performances from the production while it was still in its original Broadway run (with Ben Platt playing Evan Hansen), I didn’t know much about the storyline and went in pretty much blind. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. I don’t want to say too much about it in case you’d like to experience the performance in the same fashion. But I will say, it’s totally worth the price of admission. One of the best new(er) to Broadway shows I’ve seen.
