If you’ve spent any time in Austin, you know that music is the soul of this city. Behind every song and performance are the people who make it happen. For the past 30 years, the SIMS Foundation has been there for them.
On Sunday, May 18, you’re invited to join the celebration at Empire Control Room & Garage. It’s a tribute to the community that keeps Austin’s music scene alive.

A Night of Music and Community with Sims
The evening features performances from Fastball, Heartless Bastards, Alejandro Escovedo & Night Glitter, Nakia, Bros Fresh, The Point, and more. Hosting the event are Andy Langer and Nicole Clark, bringing their unique flair to the stage.
Supporting Those Who Support the Music
This concert is more than a good time. It’s a reminder of how tight-knit Austin’s music community really is. SIMS has been supporting local musicians with mental health services for three decades. That’s huge. And it’s something we don’t talk about enough.
So yes, come for the music. Dance, drink, and have a great time. But also know that by being there, you’re supporting an organization that’s been quietly helping behind the scenes for years.
