The show is just getting started! Running through August 3, the experience proves that Austin is in for a summer full of musical magic.
Be A Part Of That World
The concept is simple. If you love Broadway musicals, this is your bar. At the event we attended, drag queen hosts made sure no one stayed in their seat for long. Audience members hopped on stage to lip sync, karaoke, strut their stuff in costume contests and, in true theater kid style, cheer each other on. The energy was contagious. It felt like one giant cast party where everyone knew the lyrics and no one cared who could sing.
Karaoke kicks off every night at 9 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sunday mornings, you get full Broadway-themed drag shows. Whether you come solo or bring your whole crew, there’s no way to leave this place in a bad mood.
Cocktails With a Broadway Backstage Pass
Your ticket includes a themed cocktail or mocktail. Drinks are designed to match the musicals that inspired them. Here are a few standouts:
- Hamilton Highball — whiskey, passion fruit, lime, and sparkling wine
- Greatest Showman Spritz — vodka, hibiscus syrup, and citrus
- Phantom of the Operum — a moody mix with blackberry and smoked rosemary
- Salty Cats — a tequila grapefruit combo served in a very Cats-style plastic cup (yes, that part made us laugh)
Prices hover around $16 per drink and everything matches the vibe. It’s over-the-top in the best way possible!
Come Dressed for the Role
Costumes are encouraged but not required. At the pre-opening, plenty of guests showed up ready for the spotlight. From subtle nods to full-blown Broadway cosplay, every outfit added to the fun. You’ll also find photo backdrops throughout the space like red carpets, stage scenes and plenty of shareable corners that make for great Instagram moments.
