Bill Murray attending SXSW

Bill Murray attending SXSW 2018 is a pretty sure bet as he’s featured in not one but TWO films making premieres at the fest.

Murray can be heard alongside a myriad of recognizable voices in the closing night film, Isle of Dogs. The Wes Anderson directed picture also stars Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Jeff Goldblum, Greta Gerwig, Frances McDormand, Scarlett Johansson, Harvey Keitel, Tilda Swinton, Ken Watanabe, Liev Schreiber and Courtney B. Vance.

Bill Murray Attending SXSW? YES!

A documentary about the man, the myth, the legend also makes its world premiere at the fest.  The Bill Murray Stories: Life Lessons Learned From A Mythical Man is said to follow one man’s journey to find meaning in Bill Murray’s many unexpected adventures with everyday people. Viewers will experience rare and never-before seen footage of the comedic icon participating in stories previously presumed to be urban legend.

And that’s not the only reason we’re sure Murray will make an appearance. No stranger to Austin, he’s been spotted numerous times in the ATX over the past year or so due to the fact that his golf line William Murray Golf is run by Resignation Media right here in our fair city.

Plus, how can we forget that time he slung drinks at the Shangri’La during SXSW way back in 2010.

THIS JUST IN! I totally forgot that Murray is playing a show at The Long Center on March 18. Thanks to insta fan Joe Houston for pointing that out. Hope you weren’t looking to take part in the meet & greet though, Tickets sold out in a flash! It seems GA tickets are still available as of press time.
