Titanic: The Exhibition has officially opened in Dallas! Offering a visually immersive journey into the famous ship’s history, you can explore detailed recreations of the Titanic’s interior, view over 300 artifacts and experience a virtual reality segment that delves into the ship’s discovery. We had the privilege of previewing the experience and now we’re spilling the tea on why it’s worth a visit!

Experience the Titanic Like Never Before!

This experience allows you to enter the world of the Titanic with an immersive exhibition that brings history to life in stunning detail. Upon entry, visitors are given a boarding ticket with the name of a real-life passenger, complete with their story and class. As you journey through the experience, you’ll explore hundreds of artifacts collected over 30 years, offering a glimpse into the lives of those aboard the ill-fated ship.

One of the most unforgettable moments is the chance to touch an actual iceberg replica, chilled to the same temperature as the iceberg that the Titanic struck—giving you a chilling sense of what the passengers faced that tragic day.

Along the way, take iconic photo opportunities, including a replica of the “Grand Staircase” made famous in the movie. A professional photographer will capture your moment, available for purchase later. The exhibition leads to a wall listing all 2,500 passengers, allowing you to discover whether the person on your boarding ticket survived the Titanic’s tragic fate.

Before you leave, don’t miss the unique gift shop featuring a range of Titanic-themed items, from stylish clothes and drinkware to a special blue heart necklace reminiscent of the one worn in the movie. It’s a perfect way to remember the experience while taking home a piece of history.

The exhibit also features a special room dedicated to James Cameron’s cult classic Titanic, where fans can relive iconic scenes from the film and see behind-the-scenes memorabilia.

Our Favorite Highlights

Here are a few things to keep an eye out for:

  • Texas connections – there is an entire room dedicated to all the Texas connections related to the Titanic.
  • Provisions wall – There is a poster up of all the provisions that were brought aboard the ship before setting sail. For example: 75,000 pounds of meat and 10,000 pounds of sugar!
  • Movie Stills – Near the end, there’s a room dedicated to James Cameron’s film, Titanic. There are a few dozen pictures from the set of the movie, including some of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet!
