According to TV Line, Connie Britton is re-uniting with Friday Night Lights showrunner/EP Jason Katims for a new seemingly can’t-lose new TV series.
Dear Edward is an hour-long drama based on Ann Napolitano’s bestselling novel of the same name. It tells the story of a 12-year-old boy who survives a devastating commercial plane crash that kills every other passenger on the flight, including his family. As he and a diverse ensemble of others affected by the tragedy try to make sense of life after the crash, unexpected friendships, romances and communities are formed.
Apple TV+ has placed a 10-episode, straight-to-series order. You can read more about what is known about the series in the TV Line article here.
