Season 3 of White Lotus features a southern family called the Ratliffs who have deep south accents and bless their heart style demeanors. If their delivery sounds a bit familiar, that might be because, like yours truly, you are a fan of Southern Charm. It turns out, Mike White told cast members to watch the Bravo series in preparation for taking on their rolls.
Sam Nivola even told People Magazine that Jason Isaacs, who plays the head of the family, kind of modeled his whole accent and character off of [that cast]. If that’s the case, it’s pretty obvious who he’s based on. We’re looking at you, Thomas Ravenel.
Parker Posey co-stars as Victoria Ratliff, mother to Nivola and his siblings, played by Sarah Catherine Hook and Patrick Schwarzenegger.

Miss Patricia Altschul even shared a video of influencer Josh the RHONY Stan breaking down the characters, pointing out who each of them sound like. He claims Posey sounds like Altschul while Schwarzenegger could easily have taken notes on douchiness from Shep Rose, Austen Kroll and “early” Craig Conover.
New episodes of White Lotus stream on Sundays on MAX.
