John Krasinski Hosts Virtual “The Office” Dream Wedding Starring Entire Cast

We could all use good news these days and John Krasinski is here to deliver it. In a genius move The Office, actor started an at-home news show dedicated to good news. The show is appropriately called Some Good News.

The actor has been making good use of quarantine, gathering all his famous friends to help him spread the positive stories submitted to him from all over the world. His guest stars include Martha Stewart, Steven Spielberg, Brad Pitt, Oprah, Robert De Niro, Stanley Tucci, Samuel L. Jackson, Ryan Reynolds, and the entire original cast of “Hamilton.” And he’s only seven episodes in.

This week’s episode is extra special though. John marries a couple whose proposal he calls an eloquent rip off of his character Jim’s in The Office. He got ordained just to marry the couple. And that’s not all! He also invited the couple’s families and friends to join, virtually, of course. But the true gem of this episode is that he ends it with a reenactment of Jim and Pam’s wedding including all of The Office cast dancing to “Forever” by Chris Brown. Basically, it was the perfect ending to a quarantine dream wedding.

Here’s the original clip of Jim and Pam’s wedding from The Office:

Years later and it still holds up. Do I predict a rewatch in most of our futures? Most likely.

Now here’s the SGN (Some Good News) wedding:

As fans of The Office this made us a little teary eyed, in the best possible way. As John says in his SGN sign off: “I’m John Krasinski asking you to remember that no matter how hard things get, there is always good in the world.” All of us wish we weren’t in a pandemic and stuck in quarantine but we must admit that things like this video and seeing every come together make it a little bit better.

Can’t wait to see what John has in store of us next week!
