While we’ve been practicing social distancing from people we’re becoming closer than ever with our televisions. And we couldn’t help but notice the amount of Matthew McConaughey movies that are currently streaming. It’s no secret that the ATXgossip team is a big fan of Mr. Texas, so we thought we’d share our love by sharing some of our favorite movies.

How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days (2003)

Starring: Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson, Bebe Neuwirth, Robert Klein

Synopsis: Benjamin Barry is an advertising executive and ladies’ man who, to win a big campaign, bets that he can make a woman fall in love with him in 10 days. Andie Anderson covers the “How To” beat for “Composure” magazine and is assigned to write an article on “How to Lose a Guy in 10 days.” They meet in a bar shortly after the bet is made and it’s game on!

Coincidentally, earlier today, McConaughey launched “McConaughey Takes” on his Instagram feed. In the video he points out that this was the first romantic comedy he did, though in the comments, fans pointed out that The Wedding Planner came before. He also discusses his chemistry with Kate Hudson, “that damn love fern,” and how this movie has given him “more mailbox money” than any other film he’s ever done!
