Shruthi was born in India, raised in Dallas, and has been in Austin for 11 years now. Her ATX career started in the world of digital marketing before she transitioned into blogging! Who’s your favorite Austin celebrity?
Bevo duh! Hook em!
Who is your favorite Texas band/ musician?
Beyonce – no questions asked. She is the queen. Also currently, Surfaces!
What actor would you classify as “totally Texan?”
I’m not a huge actor/ actress person. Matthew McConaughey, I suppose! I saw him at several UT games and ATX events so he seems pretty dedicated to the Texas scene.
What’s your theme song?

What advice do you have for Austinites looking to be successful in social media?
If you start with wanting to be successful in social media, you will likely burn out or probably find waaay too much identity in it. If you start with what you love plus are good at (you’ll know this by the audience engaging with your content), and happen to grow in social presence as well, you’re more likely to have a good long-term career.
