Actress Busy Philipps is no stranger to using her social media to advocate different causes. She took to Twitter and Instagram to express how devastated she was that SXSW was canceled and even helped Wunderkeks, a local baker in Austin with her #SmallBusinessSurvival cookie kits.

Yesterday she posted on her Instagram saying she’s joined Cameo a site that lets you book personalized video shout outs from your favorite people. Actors, athletes, and comedians alike join to raise money for various causes. In light of those suffering due to Coronavirus, Philipps took the initiative to join Cameo to raise money for No Kid Hungry and World Central Kitchen. Helping aid those who cannot afford meals at this time due to work and school restrictions.

Amy Adams and Texas native Jennifer Garner also joined forces with @savewithstories to help aid the same foundation No Kid Hungry. Save With Stories, is a spot to watch your favorite celebrities read your favorite children’s books. Click here to see their introduction video.

What local Austin celebrity and charity team up would you love to see on Cameo?

Imagine Matthew McConaughey joining Cameo telling your family and friends to “Stay home. Alright? Alright? Alright?” partnered with the North Texas Food Bank to help getting meals to those in need during this trying time. I’d pay for that.
