Pedal cabs AKA pedicabs are everywhere in Austin and they have been for a long time. But one pedal cab driver is driving for a cause. Heidi Nichole is using her pedicab business Fly By Pedal Cab to spread awareness, raise money and save lives!

Here’s how you can take a ride and save lives with Fly By Pedal Cab

Heidi Nichole is raising awareness for the risks and health complications caused by breast implants which leads to Breast Implant Illness. Having been impacted herself, the advocate is using her pedicab to share the word but also the stories of the women affected by Breast Implant Illness. Nicole herself suffered for 15 years and doctors never had an answer for her. Doctors often overlook Breast Implant Illness and its symptoms, which is why raising awareness is crucial.

I got implants at the age of 23. Within five years B.I.I. started destroying me. Breast Implant Illness destroyed my happiness, my chance at having a family, my ability to function, and B.I.I. took away the prime of my life. I want to make sure that word gets out about Breast Implant Illness so that it does not happen to anyone else. Women who have implants can be informed about the “Silent Killer” that they have inside of their bodies. I have heard of women who have committed suicide due to depression or an autoimmune disease brought on by having breast implants. Many women have suffered more than I. It is time to make a change, and it is time to get real.

Here’s how you can help!

Nichole’s goal is to raise money to help her maintain the advertising fees for the signs on her pedicabs. She hopes the money will supply her two pedicabs with the funds to keep boobs and BII on the bikes and eventually work toward putting ads on other women-operated pedicab companies. Her ultimate mission is to lead the charge on changing laws about patient information concerning the negative effects of having implants.
