Saturday Night Live‘s Andrew Dismukes stars in CALL ME BROTHER, a film opening virtually next month.
The coming-of-age romantic comedy is about a brother and sister in their late teens who are reunited after years of separation only to discover intimate feelings they struggle to confront. Between immature friends and dysfunctional parents, they find comfort in each other over a wistful and awkward summer weekend.
Also starring Christina Parrish, who wrote the film, CALL ME BROTHER opens in virtual theaters Nationwide November 6, 2020.
Andrew Dismukes has served as a writer on SNL since Season 43. He was promoted to featured player just last month. The Port Neches native is an alum of the University of Texas’s Department of Radio-Television-Film. He got his start in stand-up comedy at East Austin coffee shop Cenote and was runner-up for the Funniest Person in Austin contest in 2016.
